Magnetic Stripes
A Magnetic Stripe is a magnetic resin material resembling a dark stripe on the back of a plastic card. Stripes are added to a card for the purpose of storing encoded data on the magnetic material that makes up the stripe. These stripes are embedded onto each card and can be useful for a variety of card key readers, point of sale terminals, and computer software programs in the marketplace today. Any plastic cards we make can have this type of magnetic stripe added to them. Magnetic Stripe Data can be encoded on up to 3 data tracks.
Magnetic Striped Cards that GlobalPCF manufactures are designed to work on your existing card readers and card encoding equipment. Hotel Key Access Cards, ATM cards, Membership cards, Gift Cards and Loyalty Cards can all have magentic stripes added to them.
